For almost 30 years, the camp for A Week to Remember has been providing nationwide camping programs for children and young adults with cancer, chronic and life-threatening illnesses. Children are given the opportunity to enjoy activities they would normally be restricted from due to their illness, while volunteers supports their medical needs.
For those children that require medicine daily or several times a day, the usual sleep-away camp is not sufficiently sophisticated to handle their medical needs. However, this particular camp, volunteer counselors, as well as a full-time medical staff, are on hand to spend endless hours with any child that needs special help and love. All programs are FREE OF CHARGE to the campers that attend A Week to Remember.
