Ever since she was a child, Stacey Aschoff has been volunteering her time for good causes.

When she moved to the Tampa Bay area two years ago, she was thrilled when her company, JPMorgan Chase, suggested she take on a leadership role in support of the St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital Foundation.

Since becoming chair of the annual Christmas in July initiative this past January, Stacey and the passionate committee she leads have made a huge impact, more than doubling the funds raised during the same period last year!

Key to that success has been increased outreach and engagement under Stacey’s stewardship. For example, a new Christmas in July Eve kickoff event brought business professionals from throughout the Tampa Bay area together for a night of networking and do-gooding.  In only two hours, over $3K was raised and nearly 20 personalized Christmas in July fundraising websites were created.

“I had no idea how much St. Joe’s and their Child Life Team does for the over 60,000 kids they treat each year. All the little extras they provide make the experience a little less scary, a little more hopeful, and even a bit fun, as crazy as that sounds. I’m so proud to be part of it.”
