Christmas in July is an opportunity to get your coworkers, classmates, club, team or family together for a friendly competition to see who can raise the most donations or toys and get the chance to win treats for the whole office. Each week during July a winner will be drawn at random for an office treat. At the end of the month, the office or team that raises the most in donations will be the winner of an office lunch party! Some things simply cannot fit into Santa’s sleigh. By becoming a sponsor for Christmas in July, you can help Santa spread holiday cheer year-round. These extraordinary children, who experience endless days of needle pricks and doctor’s visits, need an outlet for fun experiences and specialized toys to ensure their happiness and health. Your sponsorship will help provide these kids with gifts such as fun activity nights in the lobby, art & music therapy, and bedside activity kits that will help raise their spirits, and allow kids to be kids – even under stressful circumstances. Start a team and create a custom fundraising page on our Christmas in July platform. Whether you are part of a company, civic organization, or a group, you can join forces to help contribute to this year’s event. Invite your co-workers, friends, and family to participate, and watch as your thermometer grows with every donation. Click here to start your own fundraising team.
Prefer to handpick your toys? No problem! We suggest you choose new toys that are entertaining, but also easy to clean. Toys that can be played with while in bed are especially wonderful for children who are limited to their beds. Toy suggestions can be found here.
Drop off your donations at the grand finale event and watch the community come together for St. Joe’s Kids. On Friday, July 27th from 7 am to 1 pm, Join Santa, the UnMonsters, and volunteer elves, along with media partners, Fox 13 and Magic 94.9 in the circular drive to St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital to celebrate and see the results. Celebration activities include check presentations, community partner treats, possible unloading of vehicles by some local celebrities, and much more. Most importantly, the big smiles and waves from our young patients as they watch over the celebration.
